Begin with boneless skinless chicken breasts. Cut into bite-sized pieces.
Add:
1tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp chili powder (optional)
1/4 tsp dried oregano
1/2 tsp kosher salt
1/4 tsp fresh ground black pepper
Mix together 2 Tbs milk and one egg. Pour egg over chicken. Stir to coat thoroughly.
In a separate dish, combine:
1/2 C bread crumbs
1/4 C wheat germ
a dash of garlic powder, paprika, salt and pepper.
Roll each piece of wet chicken in the breading until thoroughly coated.
Cover bottom of skillet with oil. Heat to medium.
Place the chicken in the oil and brown each side. The nuggets should be firm when done.
